When clients come to me, they're usually...

  • Afraid to talk about what isn't working

You have been feeling off for a while now, but haven't addressed it. When everything seems to be going well, you don't want to mess it up. When it's bad, it's hard to talk about anything and you certainly don't want to make it worse.

  • Frustrated from a lack of role clarity

You divided up roles based on areas of strength, but so many problems and decisions are cross functional.

  • Confused from communication breakdowns

You have a conversation and it seems like you are on the same page, only to be surprised later when something is implemented wrong.

That's where I come in...

What if you could have the confidence to work through anything with your co-founder?

  • Feel excited to work together again

Have a successful business and keep your friendship too.

  • Foster collaboration

Your ability to work well together influences the culture you are building and attracts investors that believe in you.

  • Feel supported and trusted

Show each other that you care by listening, understanding, and empowering one another.

That's what I help co-founders do.

As a Co-Founder Coach, I work with co-founder teams to:

  • Resolve conflict

Sharing different opinions is necessary to hash out great ideas, but it doesn’t have to get ugly.

  • Build trust

You can't do everything by yourself. Express confidence in your co-founder's ability to solve problems and make important decisions.

  • Make good decisions together

Take advantage of the different ways you each solve problems to "see the whole picture" and develop strategy more efficiently .

  • Identify each other's strengths

Learn when to let go and when to be assertive in order to get the best results.

  • Communicate effectively

Everyone can learn good communication skills. Your ability to communicate well is the driving force to get through any challenge together.

  • Grow and develop as leaders

Startups will push you beyond your comfort zone. Better self-awareness will improve your ability to adapt and be resilient. You must grow at the same pace as your company.

What My Clients Are Saying...

Elizabeth Zalman

Co-Founder & CEO

strongDM

I don’t believe we, as a founding team or company, would be here today without Sasha’s help.

strongDM is a successful VC-backed startup with three co-founders. Nine months in, we faced a pivotal moment, the kind of decision that comes up only a few times in the life of a company. We all wanted different things; it nearly tore us apart. We realized if we were going to continue as a team, we had to learn how to resolve conflict. But like most start-ups, we were short on both money and time and wondered if a co-founder coach was worth it.

We decided to hire Sasha and we’ve never looked back. In our time working with Sasha, we came to realize that to be successful, we had to go beyond conflict resolution. With Sasha’s help we learned how to debate respectfully with each other and make decisions faster.

We’ve also reached out for periodic tune-ups. The company and our roles haven’t remained static, and neither have we. Sasha has remained critical in helping us through other pivotal moments and in our development as a team.

A Little Bit About Me

Hi, I'm Sasha.

Over the past decade, working as a therapist and executive coach, my clients have been founders, VCs, lawyers, CEOs, and partners in accelerator programs. I hear the inside scoop from many perspectives in one of the major startup centers of the world - San Francisco.

      • I'm a licensed counselor in California (LPCC,LMFT).

I have worked as a therapist for over a decade with couples, families, and groups. My education and expertise in psychology provides me with a unique set of tools to help co-founders.

      • I'm a proud father.

I always wanted to be a parent and I feel endless gratitude for my daughter - nothing matters to me more.

      • I'm a bit of a masochist

Growing up in NY, I've been a die hard NBA Knicks fan since the age of 10. It's ironic that for someone who has a passion for how organizational systems work, that I could be so attached to THE most dysfunctional professional sports team in the world. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
